The Skyline Drive
On a sunny autum day I took the time to stretch my wheels
on the pavement of the Skyline Drive that runs through the Blue ridge
mountains of Virginia. I found the timing to be just right - I didn't
get caught up in heavy traffic and I had most of the views to myself.
I have driven this road a couple of times and spent long minutes behind
an RV taking the curves at 10-20 mph - what good is a curve if you
can't lean into it? Anyway, this trip was worry free and I spent hours
taking in the sights and the curves.
