Alaska Trip
Now here was a trip of a lifetime; We start with a drive and dinner at
the Seattle Space Needle and then stepped aboard a Royal Caribbean Cruise to Alaska (up the inside
passage) and back.

The clouds gave me an early morning sneak PEAK.

Seattle
  Driving to Seattle.

Seattle
The Seattle Space Needle with selected views inside and out.
Seattle
The Port of Seattle from the stern of the ship.
Royal Caribbean
Cruise to Alaska. Seven days with 4 stopovers in Juneau, Skagway, Icy Straits,
and Victoria, BC.
Juneau
The state capital of Alaska. Juneau has a population of about 30K and no road
access. We took a Cable Tram to the 1,000ft mark for some really nice views.
Wildlife
The wildlife of Alaska can be downright scary, but it is still something to see.
Helicoptor Ride
The Helicopter ride was awesome. We departed Juneau and went over the east pass.
The mountain views were spectacular and the glacier was something else. If you ever get the
chance, take this trip.
Skagway
Skagway is the gateway to the Yukon. They have a population of about 800,
which swells to about 5,000 when the tourist ships come in.
Narrow Gauge Train
The Skagway to Frazier narrow gauge train trip was a blast. The train
ran up through the pass on a narrow gauge rail that allowed sharper turns and was
cheaper to construct.
Icy Strait
Icy Strait was an anchor stop were we got to ride the ship's boats
into Hoonah. This place used to be a cannery for fish. We also did the Nature
tram ride through the forest and along part of the coastline.

victoria, BC
Our last stop over was Victoria, BC. I didn't get any city details
but it is a mix of historic and new buildings. The city has grown up in the past
two decades and was very busy place. We didn't do any excursions here and spent
a lot of the time shopping - so not too many pictures.
